sling or orthopedic brace.
Can you treat fractures or dislocations without the ER?
Many closed fractures and selected dislocations can be evaluated in an orthopedic office. Some injuries require
emergency sedation, hospital resources or immediate surgery. Call first so the team can direct you safely.
Can I receive a cortisone shot or joint aspiration the same day?
It may be possible after physician evaluation. The doctor first confirms the diagnosis and determines whether
aspiration or injection is appropriate and safe.
Can MRI be arranged quickly?
Yes. In selected clinical situations, MRI in Snellville may sometimes be completed the same day.
Other studies may be available within one to two business days after required insurance authorization,
